Ascendo Resources Secures #18 Ranking on Jacksonville Business Journal’s Top Corporate Philanthropists List

This recognition is a testament to Ascendo’s dedication to enriching the community through strategic partnerships with various local organizations and initiatives.

Throughout the year, Ascendo has partnered with numerous non-profits across Jacksonville to support a range of causes. These partnerships include involvement with Changing Homelessness to address community needs each October and year-round collaborations with Operation New Uniform to assist veterans transitioning to civilian careers. Ascendo also supports Breakthrough T1D and Gala in May, which aims to raise funds for type 1 diabetes research.

Additional organizations Ascendo partners with include Get Naked Jax, promoting skin cancer awareness; SHRM for human resource management advancement; and Wounded Warrior for veteran support. Ascendo is committed to supporting Hubbard House in addressing domestic violence, Rethreaded, which focuses on aiding survivors of human trafficking, and Junior Achievement, which aims to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.

Tony’s Turkey Trot for Brain Injury Awareness is another cherished partnership, with Jacksonville Managing Partner Pete Langlois serving as the event emcee on Thanksgiving morning. Additionally, Ascendo supports the UNCF Mayor’s Ball (where Executive Recruiter Ty Peterson serves on the leadership board) to benefit educational initiatives, particularly in honor of Veterans Day on November 11.

This year, the Ascendo team has participated in several additional community events, including the Five STAR Veterans Center Military Ball Gala, The Jim Tuttle Memorial Golf Tournament, and Ladies Executive Golf (LEGS) Birdies and Boo’s Halloween Event, where the team proudly won the costume contest.
